Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

PEND is designed to work without an account. Cart, imports, and decisions stay on your device. The app may show banner advertisements and may request tracking permission on iOS so ads can be more relevant. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

2. Who we are

PEND is a technology company based in Israel, founded by Liron Shiryon. For privacy questions, contact pend@lirshir.com.

3. What PEND stores on your device

PEND may store the following information locally on your device:

• Products, links, text, screenshots, photos, and other content you choose to import.
• Simulated cart, order, tracking, cooling-period, and decision records.
• Optional price, category, source, language, currency, pause, and notification settings.

4. Network use

PEND may download the public fictional catalog and catalog images from Firebase. That traffic does not include your cart, imports, decisions, or other private records.

When you explicitly import a product URL, PEND may connect directly from your device to that URL to retrieve public page metadata such as title, image, store, and price.

If that metadata is incomplete, PEND may send the product URL (and any shared text you already provided) to Google Gemini via Firebase AI Logic so the model can read the public product page and fill missing Import Review fields. If you explicitly choose or share a screenshot/photo and details are still incomplete, PEND may also send that image and its accompanying shared text to Gemini. Gemini is used only for that import, and the resulting values remain editable on your device.

5. Advertising

PEND may display banner ads through Unity LevelPlay mediation (including ironSource and Unity Ads). Advertising partners may receive device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, and technical device information to deliver, measure, and improve ads.

On iOS, Apple may show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline tracking and still use PEND; ads may still appear, but may be less personalized.

PEND does not sell your cart, imports, decisions, or other private local records to advertisers.

6. Notifications and device permissions

PEND requests notification permission contextually so it can remind you when a simulated PEND is ready to decide. Photo-library or camera access is requested only when you choose the corresponding import option. The app remains usable when optional permission is denied.

7. Sharing and sale

PEND does not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers needed to run the app (for example Firebase, Google Gemini for user-initiated imports, and ad mediation partners for banner ads). Data export of your local records occurs only when you choose Export Data and select a destination through the operating system share sheet.

8. Retention and deletion

PEND keeps local data until you remove it or choose Delete All Data. Delete All Data clears the local database, pending notification records, native import inbox, deduplication history, and copied import files controlled by PEND.

9. Simulation disclosure

PEND does not sell products or process payments. Built-in products and restaurants are fictional. Checkout, order tracking, and delivery are simulations.
